Hello I am having problems with mal:url. The warnings seem to pop up at random times when visiting what i think are clean sites like e.g google. They started showing up after I visited a site that gave me several warning pop ups earlier today. If any of you kind people would have a look i would be ever so grateful.
Edit: It just happened here while on this very forum. The url in the warning seems to be the same each time (h**ps://54.149.18.169)
Same problem. Just started happening today. I am currently using the official, up-to-date Firefox. It first popped up as a URL:Mal infection that is trying to get to this weird IP address through Firefox: “54.149.18.169”. The second time it happened was when it was trying to get to something like “54.149.18.169/sync/v1.5”
I have also seen it. I’ve seen it for a while, and I was initially scared, as it was reoccurring. Now after reading other posts about the topic, I believe it is safe and a false positive, as it looks like it comes from Amazon.
