I have many problems with malewares that avast can’t remove. My pen drives are, apparently, infected by autorun virus.
Can someone tell me what to do?
:-\ ???
Hi Rangar,
Here is a list of steps that has been proven to work efficiently at cleaning up infected machines.
Thanks to Tech for the hard work and diligence in making this list.
Hi Rangar,
What I also would recommend to you is to download Flash_Disinfector from here:
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/Flash_Disinfector.exe
and use that. What will Flash Disinfector Do
- Clean up junks created by flash malwares
- Deletes autorun.inf from every root folder
- Fix back damages done to your system
- Creates an autorun.inf folder in the root of your system drives, leave that there for protection,
How To Use The Tool
Please remember to disable any AV / ScriptBlockers as they might detect Flash Disinfector to be malicious and block it. Hence, the failure in executing. You can enable them back after the cleaning process
Download Flash Disinfector by sUBs and save it to your desktop.
* Double-click Flash_Disinfector.exe to run it. Follow any prompts that may appear.
* Your desktop will vanish for a while, and then reappear. This is normal.
* Wait until the program has finished scanning, then please exit the program.
* Restart your computer and see if problem still persists.

P.S. Additionally you can use the solution mentioned here by our friend Tech: http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=46174.msg387465#msg387465
I think both the “list” and Flash Disinfector, suggested by Polonus, should be run
Good luck on cleaning.
Thanks to all. I took Polonu’s tip and solved the freak.
