I’m trying to get rogue killer but all i see is the french version of it apparently when i click the link that’s where it takes me.
Is there an english version??

I attached the logs from TDDSKiller

One concern I have is that on my computer my folders seem to now be set on ‘show invisible’ or something because i’m seeing a bunch of extra files some that I deleted previously showing up all this stuff wasn’t there before.

Even on my desktop i have something called ‘desktop.ini’ showing up that wasnt there before, theres’ 2 files of it

Yes we will hide them once finished

Re-run TDSSKiller and when this element appears select delete :

\Device\Harddisk0\DR0 ( TDSS File System )

http://www.sur-la-toile.com/RogueKiller/RogueKiller.exe direct rogue killer link

Thanks.

These are the logs from Rogue Killer

Note: While running rogue killer I got an alert on Malwarebyte bout the Trojan, I clicked ignore instead of quarantine since I figured this was due to Rogue Killer attempting to delete it.

I did the re-run on TDDSKiller and deleted the mentioned file. Which triggered an avast pop up but didnt get to see what it was. Looked like the Malicious URL blocked pop up but a bit longer (I have my settings set to only display pop ups for 1 second with no sound due to the annoyance of the past 3 days)

Anything else I should do?

The Avast alert was as the TDSS files were being moved

How is the computer behaving now ?

Seems ok for now, no pop up showing up in the past couple minutes.

Did that all fix it already? I thought there would be more to it.

Did that all fix it already? I thought there would be more to it.
there will be a little cleanup if all is ok

Ah alright so do I restart or how do I tell if all is ok? Just sit and wait ?

Just one more I need to check your update services before I let you go ;D

run farbar service scanner

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/73555776/FSS.GIF

Tick “All” options.
Press “Scan”.
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

This is the result from the FSS scan, sorry for the delay I had to meet someone yesterday.

**** End of log ****

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Run OTL
[*]Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

:Commands [resethosts] [emptytemp] [Reboot]

[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top
[*]Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done

Run OTL and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.

We will now confirm that your hidden files are set to that, as some of the tools I use will change that

[*]Go to control panel
[*]Select folder options (Appearance > Folder options in category view)
[*]Select the View Tab.
[*]Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Do not show hidden files and folders.
[]Click Yes to confirm.
[
]Click OK.
