When all scanning is done, you need to attach a logreport that has made MCShield.

Start → All Programs → MCShield → Logs

Attach here → AllScans.txt

Explanation: USB storage devices are all the USB devices that get their own partition letter at connecting to the PC,
e.g. flash drives (thumb/pen drives, USB sticks), external HDDs, MP3/MP4 players, digital cameras,
memory cards (SD cards, Sony Memory Stick, MultiMedia Cards etc.), some mobile phones, some GPS navigation devices etc.

Hi there,
Ran OTL but it ended up not responding and I had to restart my laptop by the power and removing the battery as it couldnt shut down either. When I restarted the log attached appeared. Should I carry on with step 2 or rerun step 1.

Hi,
Try again to run OTL Fix. If OTL throw “not responding” just wait OTL will probably end up working.
If OTL faild to run, then skipt that step and go to Combofix. If Combofix faild to run, then try to run in safe mode.

Hi again. OTL failed to respond again and left it on overnight and it was still stalled this morning. The file attached says the same as yesterday. Have not seen the Virus messages since restarting though. Has it been fixed just by running the first step OTL Fix?

Jump to Combofix.

Please find attached ComboFix log. Do you want me to move on to step 3.

Yes please while i review your logs

Here is McShield Allscans file.
Thank you for all your help, I think the laptop is running faster as well now!!

  • Temporaly disable your AntiVirus.

  • It is necessary to uninstall the ComboFix :

[*] Click Start (or
http://amf.mycity.rs/pg/images/VistaStartButton.png
) then Run.

On Windows7 or Vista you may use Start Search field if Run is not available.

[*] In the line of text type in (Copy) the following:

ComboFix /Uninstall

Note that there is a space between " ComboFix " and " /Uninstall " .

[*] then click OK (or press Enter ).

Wait for the uninstall process is complete.
