Malware name: WMA:Wimad [Drp] nonstop warnings/will not delete or repair

File name: C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine’

Malware name: WMA:Wimad [Drp]

Malware type: Dropper

VPS version: 100225-0, 02/25/2010

Ok, I just tried deleting this about ten times. Then I just tried repairing it a few times. It started about 10 minutes ago and it has been popping up non-stop. I either delete or repair it but within 5 seconds it just pops back up again.

Something with COMODO and these C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO Internet Security\Quarantine\unp**********.tmp files. Always unp*.tmp but with a different number.

I haven’t disabled COMODO yet and I’m pretty sure that would finally put an end to these non-stop warnings… but I don’t want to disable my firewall, obviously. I just want avast to stop this by either deleting it permanently or actually repair it. And yes, I tried “Move to chest” to no avail but haven’t tried “Move/Rename” yet. I think I’ll try that next.

Please help. It’s NON-STOP and driving me crazy. I’m trying to watch some youtube.

If anything is found come back and post the scan logs here

You obviously have a conflict of two antiviruses - Comodo is quarantining avast!'s temporary files.
So, the first thing to do is to resolve this conflict (e.g. by disabling Comodo resident protection).
