My computer is running extremely slow & constantly freezes up. I dont know what the problem is?? It be much appreciated if you can help this newbie! :slight_smile:

I have attached Hijack Log

I have done the following:
*Defrag’d
*Disk Clean, checked for errors
*Manually removed Temp Files

**Scanned via SUPERAntispyware…Found 3:

Click Start>Run
In the Open box type msconfig and then click on OK or press Enter.

Select the Startup tab and click ‘Disable All’ and reboot.

Do you still have the same problems?

If not, re-enable items one by one until you find the one causing the problem.

If the problem is still there, run msconfig again and click on ‘Enable All’ to reverse changes.

You are using Windows XP Service Pack 2… A newer Service Pack [SP3] is available for download at Microsoft Update… It is very much recommended to upgrade as early as possible…

b Firewall[/b]
You are using Windows XP Firewall… XP Firewall does not have outbound protection… You may consider enhancing your protection by installing a firewall with outbound protection… Examples are:

   PCTools, Agnitum Outpost, Online Armor

b O16 - DPF: {AF2E62B6-F9E1-4D4F-A10A-9DC8E6DCBCC0} (VideoEgg ActiveX Loader) - hXXp://update.videoegg.com/Install/Windows/Initial/VideoEggPublisher.exe[/b]
This seems suspicious… You may try uploading VideoEggPublisher.exe to VirusTotal… I found one analysis in the internet but it would be better if a newer analysis is to be generated…
