Hi malware fighters,

We saw new malware in January 2008 specially directed at gamers:
The January top ten list consists of:

  3. Win32/Adware.Virtumonde - 2,74%
  4. Win32/Obfuscated.A1 - 2,66%
  5. Win32/Adware.Virtumonde.FP - 2,24%
  6. Win32/Adware.Ezula - 1,71%
    7 Win32/TrojanDownloader Ani.Gen - 1,25%
  7. Win32/PSW.Agent.NDP - 1,19%
  8. Win32/TrojanDropper. Agent.DGO - 1,18%
  9. Win32/PSW.OnLineGames.KDP - 1,15%

Yeah … this was sure to happen since most, but not all, gamers care more about playing whatever on-line game than they do about the security of their computers … until they get infected.

This is why i stopped playing online games awhile ago i got infected a few times minor as they were they were still a annoyance
