Well, it’s not personal piracy… he sold copyrighted software at a huge discount on his site…
I don’t imagine they will do the same to the home users. Maybe the companies (commercial) could get in this trouble.
Home users usually don’t get cought. They’re small fish. Not really a problem as they just use it for themself. More problematic are guys like this one that sell stolen goods and get loads of $$$ (untaxed!). Thats why they treat him like this.
What did the guy think would happen, they’d just ignore it :
