Man Sentenced Over Computer Attacks


A 19-year-old Michigan man who ran an Internet business selling retro sports jerseys was sentenced Friday to 30 months in federal prison for recruiting a New Jersey teen to carry out computer attacks against competitors.

I would give him even more than just 30 months… be better than your competition, do not try to ruin their business. Work on yourself and your business plan. It looks like this guy didn’t think twice when he made those decisions… what’s next ? Burn someone’s store down ?

Oh well… he is still 19, that’s why he’s got 30 months only… most likely the judge thought that this will teach him good enough in case he decides to do something similar in the future. Better to prevent it now, than to heal it later… ::slight_smile:

I would have given him a 30 month suspended sentence, after that cut him down ;D
