I am yet another customer who asks to manually update the database.
With this feature that you have added, it could make our lives easier when it comes to cell phone problems.
I see that many people have already talked about and reported this on the Google Store.

To update the virus databes on Avast Mobile:
Account >> Options >> Protection >> Virus Database >> use the symbol to update (sorry I use the spanish version!):
I think you didn’t understand what I want, let me explain.
I want AVAST to have the option to update manually.
I don’t want Avast to update the virus database automatically.
If you notice that it updates automatically, where is the option for me to mark that I don’t want to update the database?
And for Avast to have this option just like it does in its product for computers.
