everytime I visit any site after today’s update I receive a virus alert by the network shield. would you fix it plz ???

I suggest you repair your avast installation and fully scan your computer. For sure, I have not a problems accessing Internet and even less the avast site itself.

This looks like local infection which inserts malware script code inside every downloaded page. And the script (which we yet don’t detect) referers the url which we already blocked.
