I don’t think the computer has randomly shut down today. Were you able to find out what the problem was? Also, is there any other software I can run or do something to clean out the computer or get rid out potential malware? Or anything in general to get the laptop to run as smooth as possible.

For instance, when I try to watch videos off some website it keeps on loading/lagging. Also, sometimes a website will keep on loading and loading. And the browers sometimes randomly says “not responding” . Quick question - Im thinking maybe I should restart the whole system. But I was wondering what would happen to the songs on my ipod. Would it be possible to transfer songs from the ipod to the new itunes? Thank you

No, I followed the instructions and did this: “KB2919442 is a prerequisite for Windows 8.1 Update and should be installed before attempting to install KB2919355” But when I run it, its says" Update not applicable to your computer"

There is something severely amiss with your system… I would recommend that you reinstall windows (after backing your data) and then install 8.1

Ok. Would it be okay to back up stuff like ipod songs, pictures, files, etc onto a flash drive. I don’t have like a external hard drive, plus I only really don’t want to lose the 1700 songs on my ipod.
