MBAM fixed over 1000 problems but computer is still slow

Computer was taking ages to boot and shutdown, browsers had been hijacked, programs crashing, etc. MBAM fixed over 1000 problems. Things have improved but it still takes a while to boot and shutdown and does not seem 100%.
Any help or advice appreciated.

Thanks Argus. Here are the ZOEK results. The computer seems a lot better now.

Re-run zoek and run this script:

All tools we used should be gone. Tool will create an report for you (C:DelFix.txt)

The tool will also record healthy state of registry and make a backup using ERUNT program in %windir%\ERUNT\DelFix
Tool deletes old system restore points and create a fresh system restore point after cleaning.

I booted up this morning and it’s still sluggish and Avast gave a warning about browser add-ons in Chrome (ArcadeFrontier and SearchFlyBar2 Toolbar). I had reset Chrome previously to default settings but there is obviously still a problem. Anything else I can try?

Export your bookmarks

Close all Chrome windows and tabs.
Go to the Start menu > Control Panel.
Click Programs and Features.
Double-click Google Chrome.
Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog. Delete your user profile information, like your browser preferences, bookmarks, and history, select the “Also delete your browsing data” checkbox.

Click Start, copy in search %LOCALAPPDATA% and remove folder Google

Download and install Chrome

Ok thanks, Chrome seems better now but things are still sluggish. Programs are slow to open and close. I’ve got a feeling things are not quite as they should be. Anything else I can try?
