Ok, there is no way to fix this from active Windows. I can’t change the partition type via ListPart on Windows XP nor from active Windows. This should be done from recovery environment.

You shall need to preform some work …

Read & Follow this guide below for running some Linux distro in in order to delete the bad Partition and set the primary system partition as active.
These steps shall allow you to delete the bad partition (see the below ListParst log - details) and if nessesery to change the partition type (flag system partition as boot component to allow system to boot).

Partition ### Type Size Offset

Partition 1 Primary 6224 MB 32 KB
Partition 2 Primary 180 GB 6224 MB
Partition 3 Unknown 8 KB 186 GB

[ . . . ]

Disk: 0
Partition 3
Type : 17 (Suspicious Type)
Hidden: Yes
Active: No

There is no volume associated with this partition.

I need you to download:
gparted-live-0.10.0-3.iso (115.1 MB)

Create a bootable CD, for Gparted from the ISO image.

You can use ImgBurn do this.

Now boot off of the newly created Gparted CD.

You should be here… Press ENTER

Is “boot” next to your OS drive (100 MB partition ) ?
If “boot” is not next to your OS drive under “Flags”, right-mouse click the OS drive while in Gparted and select Manage Flags

In the menu that pops up, place a checkmark in boot like the picture below, then close :
