secondly, confuseddotcom. a bit more info would help others advise especially screen shots of the popups.
have you got Avast installed, if yes which version. if not then youve come to the wrong forum, this is Avast.
have you loaded mcaffe or norton antivirus in the past. if yes then im guessing youve not fully removed them as you cant have 2 antivirus running at the same time as they will conflict.
If no then they could be just spam fake popups which have been doing the rounds for years and youve clicked on a dodgy link and now your getting spammed by the popups.
