All of a sudden recently, I rebooted the browser and selected “Bank Mode” and the menu bar at the top was black with white letters. The regular Avast Secure Browser window is white with black letters.
Does anyone know why this happened?
How do I change it back to white with black letters? I’ve searched through settings and can’t find anything related to this.

I have just found Bank Mode changed to white on black instead of black on white titlebar. i.e. sort of DARK mode for Bank mode.
This has occured here only in past 2 days, and not due to browser version update.
I know some users have been crying out for a DARK mode, but this is indiscrminate and unwanted change, that has no setting to change back.

Me too. It went black in past few days. Maybe this is what they meant re the new release 83.1:“Bank Mode has a refreshed theme that ties in with the previously released new Bank Mode design”?
Surely it would be possible to give users the choice re whether they want it dark and hard to see clearly or be bright and clearer? People with certain eye conditions must find it particularly difficult to navigate easily now.
Please can we have a bright option? It was fine for me how it was. Thanks.
Not had much response to this, so is unclear if dark title bar in bank mode is intentional or a bug.
I now have Version 84.0.5275.106 (Official Build) (64-bit).
Settings allows 3 choices of browser colour: Same as Windows/Light/Dark
This setting also appears when Bank Mode is used.
Bank Mode is always set Dark mode regardless of chosen browser colour setting. I dislike Dark mode for any browser mode, but now don’t seem to have any other choice.
Why?
