Hi,
Sometimes, I have in the event viewer 2 messages as follow :
Marked as warning (Yellow icon) :
AAVM - scanning warning: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: http://clients1.google.fr/complete/search?hl=fr&q=gu&cp=2 (C:\WINDOWS\TEMP_avast4_\unp51379021.tmp) returning error, 0000A413.
Marked as error (Red cross icon) :
AAVM - scanning error: x_AavmCheckFileDirectEx: avfilesScanReal of http://clients1.google.fr/complete/search?hl=fr&q=gu&cp=2 failed, 0000A413.
It seems to be linked to some search on google using google toolbar of Firefox.
I have windows XP SP2 with all updates.
I have AVAST Home v4.8.1356 with last VPS 091107-0
Any ideas ?
Thanks.

That’s an oxymoron and doesn’t make sense

What does your comment bring to my post ?
I think you didn’t understand…You can have XP SP2 not updated…

Ok fair enough, maybe my post was a bit pointless, sorry for that.
I suppose a better way of putting it would be to question why you haven’t updated to xp3?
It is not fully updated without it. Sp3 has been out for over a year and not updating may leave you vulnerable…
