Cannot find where and how to stop it. I have read the thread Scanning but it does not help me. Where the h…l can i sign it off???
You shouldn’t have enabled it, it is off by default.
- Standard Shield > Customize > Advanced - ‘Show detailed info on performed actions’ this option is off by default, so it would appear you have been tweaking avast without knowing the effect it will have. This function is also on the Web Shield and Internet Mail providers so you should also check those.
Sorry, but i cannot find that window Resident task settings.
I have read the thread earlier so know what to do if i can find the option.

That is what i cannot do because i cannot find it. It is not there when i klick on the icon, just the standard shield (in swedish)
Click on ‘Details’ button when you open the providers settings…
I had ‘details’ on so that is not the problem. But now suddenly from nowhere the window popped up with the options you mentioned. So now i finally got rid of the oncoming scanningreports. But why this option was not there in the first place i do not understand! Btw i do not have to understand it, now it runs smoothly!!!
Glad you’ve finally succeed 
The image I posted is obviously two windows one over the other. First you had to select the standard shield provider and then the customize button to see the option.
If you did that, I have no idea why you didn’t see it, the main thing is that it is now resolved.
