mftutil.exe - uninstalling?

This mftutil.exe causing me lot of troubles. I tried all I could find to get rid of it, but none helped. I can’t uninstall it. I red that I should uninstall something which name is NG, but can’t fnd something like that. Tried custom install, but non of items from the list is either mftuil, or NG.

How exactly can I unsitall this component?

NG is actually Secure Virtual Machines.

I read somewhere that Vlk mentioned the latest Avast version - 11.2.2262, NG has been removed https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=185871.msg1309733

I have the latest version.

The thing is, and this happening second time, mftutil.exe disappears at first, but then, after about 24h, it appears again. :frowning:

I did clean install TWICE. First, I unistalled it regularly, then use avast clean tool, and then install it again. Second time, I uninstalled it with Revo uninstaller, with cleaning registry and all, then did AGAIN avast clean tool, then install it again, and same thing happened. At first it wasn’t there, but then, i don’t know how, it suddenly appears again, and start using my resources as mad.

Don’t know what else to do to get rid of it permanently?

I see your post, just now. It looks this is the key. I didn’t know what is NG, what it stands for, and what to uninstall within the Avast. Now I finally found this component, and uninstalled it, and for now it disappeared. How it won’t come back again, like two times already. Thank you so much!

Reported to Avast let’s see what they have to say.
