Micro$oft July 2009 updates defective?!?!?!?

Dear Forum,

Why did only 4 Micro$oft updates for July 2009 download for XP Pro (and Office 2003) when according to another thread there should be six for this month?

Is there a defect in Micro$oft updates?

It probably depends on what applications you have installed, and whether you download all updates offered.
There were four offered to me, also, I opted out of one of them.
The authority on MS releases is MS, not Computerworld.
Looking at that list, I can see two straight away that might not be applicable to all users.

There will be always left things to be patched… it’s the law of life…

There are people that seem their only purpose in life is to discover what needs to be patched and how to exploit it… that’s the law of a malware writer’s life…
