Micro$oft Window$ Update site hacked?!?!?

Dear Avast Forum,

Why is Micro$oft Window$’ Update site running so slowly?

I choose to manually update Window$ and for Tuesday and Wednesday of this week it is running extraordinarily slow. Has the website been hacked?

In addition the only updates were the M$ Malicious Software Removal Tool and around 3 updates for M$ Office.

Did I miss any updates? I’m running (unfortunately) XP $P3 with Office XP, ZA, MBAM and Avast (of course!).

Microsoft update site usually runs slow following Patch Tuesday due to the millions of Windows users wanting to keep their operating system up to date.

This month was rather light in updates for XP and Vista.

You can always switch to Linux then you would have something else to bash.

Only 2 updates and 3 for Office 2007 on Vista Business 32bits. Working without problems.
