Microsoft Edge Browser Delayed Opening

I’m on Windows 11 and have no delay or problems opening Edge.
I have both the latest version and the beta version on my system and there is no delay in either version.

Please set your current network profile to the “Trusted” category.
Next, allow internet access for MS Edge executable: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Edge\Application\msedge.exe

Your Support-Tool won’t work properly either, gets in a loop or says it can’t access/launch 64-bit AutoExec’s executable.

I’ve noticed MS Edge won’t appear in Avast’s Firewall under active apps.
Also MS Edge gets access to the internet after disabling Avast’s Firewall, but gets blocked again for some minutes after enabling.
Like if there is a countdown for MS Edge.

You have to wait some minutes before MS Edge can access internet.

Finally got fed up with the delay in launching EDGE and switched to another browser and launch fine with no delay. Decided to pick this back up and found this thread. I have the firewall set to “ask” when a new program accesses internet, but have cleared EDGE that it’s ok, and whitelisted it as well. After about a min or two EDGE finally gets access, meanwhile I’ve been browsing find on Firefox. ;Man I miss Kaswpersky.
