Hey… Bob is just pointing out, not complaining Mac… 8)
There are Mac users on the forum too you know.Kyle, It's nice to know which operating system this software was written for. :) No need to get all excited. ;D
I don’t see anybody commenting on the new Office ??? It doesn’t matter if the link is for MAC or not, does it?
It does as this particular version is for the Mac.
I also don’t see why you are here as you don’t use avast, other than your objectionable signature advert. Take the spam elsewhere.
Well to get back on topic…
The 2008 Version is Universal, so finally we will get decent performance on Intel Macs. Word is fine in emulation but just try using PowerPoint when a slideshow has video or large image files and you will see what I mean. I dont use Excel often but I can imagine large Excel workbooks would also be painful to use.
On the negative side of things this version uses that new “Ribbon” interface like the windows version which I HATE! The interface has been basically the same on both Mac and Windows for years and now they have to change it!
Oh well enough ranting. People who like Office 2007 on windows will like this release others will still want to upgrade if they use intel or need compatibility with the new formats
