Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working.

Running Windows 7 home premium with Office 2003 on new Dell desktop.
Suddenly I start getting this error message when I try to access email in outlook.

“Microsoft Office Outlook has stopped working.
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close
the program and notify you if a solution is found.”

Your advice is appreciated

Did you download anything or visit any suspisious sites prior to Microsoft Office Outlook not working?

Nothing that I had not been doing for 3 months or so. Did not recieve any alerts or warnings from avast interenet security of any problems.

Maybe a repair of Office 2003 is in order ???
