Microsoft Program with Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}

File name : VsSDKFebruary2007.exe
download from Download Center.

Avast found virus : Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}
but Microsoft said it clean.

Why Avast must detect ?
And I use this program now , but no problem.

Upload the file to VirusTotal and post the results.

Whilst this might well be a false positive, given that this is Visual Studio 2005 Software Development Kit (SDK) version 4.0 (update from Feb 2007) is there not a more recent version and get rid of this old version ???

Like, Visual Studio 2008 SDK Version 1.0 http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=30402623-93ca-479a-867c-04dc45164f5b&displaylang=en, wouldn’t this be better as far as security goes if you are developing Visual Studio extensions, etc.

I doubt this will be possible as this file is 124MB and there is a 10MB upload limit on virustotal.
