With the number of computers I’m getting that are infected. I believe it.
I have been getting a lot less requests for virus removal since last November. But that may be on account of the recession. In New Zealand, repair bills for computers can be scary - at times more than the value of the computer. My guess is preventative behaviour is on the rise down here in NZ when it comes to computer viruses. It needed to be after horror winter ending Sept/ Oct last year!
Well if my friends and families systems are any type of gage, it doesn’t surprise me. Everyone has had me over at least twice to clean up a mess. “Why is the auto-update disabled???” “Why is the firewall turned off???” “Why is the AV turned off???” Why would someone do something over and over again expecting different results is beyond me…
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Insanity…that’s the ticket!
