For some reason this update will not load
Security Update for Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows Server 2008 x86 (KB2698023)
Can someone please advise on how to correct this …THX
This is a total pain as the .net frameworks are notorious for messing up
Download the net cleanup tool from here http://blogs.msdn.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer-Components-PostAttachments/00-08-90-44-93/dotnetfx_5F00_cleanup_5F00_tool.zip
Unzip to your desktop and run the cleanup tool
Select all net framework versions
Then download dotnet framework 1.1 and install http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26
Retry windows updates
Framework 1.1 FAILED >:(
