Minimum System Requirements (old netbook PC)

Hello, I installed Avast Internet Security (paid sub.) on an old Acer eMachines netbook, it won’t run and I guess it is now below the minimum system requirements. Could someone please confirm this or alternatively suggest what to try. It has an Intel Atom CPU N270 @ 1.60 GHz, 0.99 GB RAM, 64 GB free disk space, Windows XP Home ed. 2002 service pack 3. Thanks.

There is no such thing as 0,99 GB ram.
64GB free drive space is not a lot.

What exactly does it mean “it won’t run”? I think it should…

I was running older versions of avast! on such netbook… Though I had a proper SATA 80GB SSD from Intel in it. The 64GB versions I think used eMMC which is a bit slow.

Other than being slow or a software conflict/problem I see no reason why avast wouldn’t install/run.
