Everysince the last update Avast has been recognizing a file I have as a virus. I know it’s not a virus however. I’ve been using it for the last year. I’ve even downloaded a fresh copy of the file and it still recognizes it as a virus. It says it’s a Win32:DataRape-B [Wrm]. I know for a fact that it’s not. How do I get Avast to ignore it?
Where can the file be dowloaded?
Can you pack it with ZIP or RAR, protect it with a password, and send it to virus@avast.com (with something like “False alarm” in subject)?
Thanks.
