I did an update for avast last night and after rebooting the computer like it asked I found that I couldn’t open any of my browsers (chrome and ff). they both come up with an error message saying that the snxhk.dll cannot be found and that reinstalling the program may help. I’ve tried reinstalling with the old install application that I still have from when I first got avast last year. When I tried to reinstall it said there was an error and the last operation was “spawning”. Since I can’t reinstall or download the latest application to try reinstalling the latest avast, I tried to delete avast from my computer using the uninstall/change in my computer but avast wont let me change or remove it from my computer.
So there’s the problem - I can’t reinstall, modify or access avast at all, and I can’t take it off my computer through traditional means, and because of this avast wont let me get online through any browser. Is there anything I can do to fix this/get it off my computer so that I can get online access?
but i can’t download that if I can’t get online. I’m only able tog online now because i’m using a library computer which wont allow usb or cd’s to be used on it so even if i do try to download it on the library computer i couldn’t get it onto my computer to use it.
