Missing dll

Tried to run Avast Pro today and got a message that said "AvastIP.dll is missing. Suggestions?

Perform a repair of avast and if that doesn’t solve it perform a clean installation of the latest avast version with the off-line installer.

Thanks Eddy, I can’t open the program at all. How do I do a repair. I checked the web site earlier and couldn’t find a place to download the paid version.

Repair is done through the control panel/apps and features.
Choose avast > change > repair

If that doesn’t work/is not solving it :

Remove avast
Run avastclear > https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility
Run the off-line installer > https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=199715.0

Take you time as there is no need to rush (and overlook/forget to do something).
Let us know if the problem is solved or not.
