Missing License File

I upgraded from the free Avast antivirus to the Avast Internet Security, 2 years yesterday. When Avast sent me theilr email acknowledging my purchase and instructions to install, it did not include the license file that was suppose to be there for me to be able to activate the service. I have sent two tickets to tech support and neither has been responded to. I also sent an email to the avast software customer service team about the problem but no answer their either. They didn’t have any problem taking my money but they have yet to provide the service I paid for. Can anyone shed any light on this problem and is this normal for their customer support.

Please contact: sales(at)avast.com

I have sent them an email and they have not responded.

You will get answer from Avast team, trust me. I know you already receive email with instructions but did you look also SPAM folder…maybe your email client treats Avast email(licence for AIS) as spam email.

I did check the spam folder, nothing there. I guess I will just wait to hear from either tech support or customer service sales. I did think the original email from them with the NOTE: Your license is valid from the day of purchase not the day of activation, I guess that is to cover them so they don’t have to adjust the date when they get around to sending you the license.

Just thought I would update this in case anyone was interested. Avast sales sent me three emails, each saying that my license file was attached to the email, it was not there on the first two emails. This took three days because it took them a day to reply each time I sent them a reply. It was finally attached to the email on the third day, installation went smooth as silk from there on. In this day and age of fast communication, three days to solve a very simple problem seems a little excessive.

IRVTrekin2, sorry for the delay. Glad you have it solved now.
