I have tried everything else, so we’ll try here
the beta for mobile 5 was updated on my device yesterday (FYI I did NOT sign up for Beta on a production professional phone) note this is production and you screwed it up.
It’s aweful, bad mess ,went to uninstall update so could revert back and it uninstalled completely so when re-installed (as cannot NOT have AV coverage) my whole call block list was gone which is the reason we use it professionally, thanks for that.
So question I have been trying to get answered everywhere is how I get the old version back as I did not agree to no Beta?
you had to opt-in for beta, there is no way we could enlist you into beta without your knowledge. The beta program is managed (from technical point of view) completely by Google (Play) so if you are sure you have never opted-in, you should write to their support. You can see if you are enlisted or not (as well as leave the beta) here https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.avast.android.mobilesecurity/
Migration of Call Blocker takes place the first time you launch AMS 5 (beta). There might be two reasons your group(s) didn’t get migrated.
a) The group was set up to block SMS only. We don’t support that in AMS 5 anymore, so such groups are not migrated.
b) The group was not enabled (as in not even one day a week). Those groups are not migrated since you are not actively using them anyway.
This was the reasoning behind the set up of the migration. If it flawed from your point of view, I can forward your concerns to the responsible people.
Sorry you had a bad experience with the app, that was not our intention.
