But they don’t offer any client for the ANdroid itself which makes it a bit useless. I hardly make any transfers between PC and my Android smartphone as i install most of the stuff directly using Android Market app. At which point these signatures dont help me at all.

For the time being the only way to rpotect the phone is to use competitor products like DrWeb for Android Light which is from well known developer (meaning it’s trustworthy) and simply check when avast! will release their product. Avoid installing so called antiviruses for Android that you hear about for the first time. They might just as well be malware itself…
That’s how i protect my phone. I’ll keep DrWeb for now but when avast! releases their product i’ll switch.
