Mobile Virus Definition Update date doesn't change

I have been getting ‘virus definitions are out of date, click here to update them’ messages regularly for a while. When i go update them, it says they are up to date, but the "virus definition version’ doesn’t change – has been 151015-00 (october 14, 2015) for a while. Then the icon comes back.

Last night it would pop back up right when i updated, so after trying 5 or so times i decided to update the app. now i have the new version of the app, and it says my definitions are updated when i update, but the date is still 151015-00 (october 14, 2015).

Is this something to worry about?

oh and i have a galaxy s4 running andriod 5.0.1

Hi,

can you send me a private message with your GUID? You can find it in Settings-About-Tap 5x on version of the app. I’ll look into our logs if I see anything useful.
