This is posted already… I don’t think it really stops because if you view history it says the scan is complete and also it chimes like the scan completed. I think the wrong message is just displaying on the pop up but it’s definitely a bug.
Confirmed, in fact is does complete - it’s a GUI bug.
After running a monthly scan on the morning of Sun Apr 16, the ‘99% Scan Canceled’ glitch has been fixed. .

I am getting the same error now 2nd week in row and it just started for me 2 weeks ago, let the first one go ignored and ran a full scan using malwarebytes that found no issues.
I notice now in Avast history that neither weeks says complete though they show in the history, but each says files not scanned and the scan starts again at 0 the moment I opened the program to check the history. Every manual scan I have done on the full system has completed to 100% and shows scan completed in the history.
