no idea why, and the system does not tell how to fix it.

even https://blog.avast.com/2015/05/25/explaining-avasts-https-scanning-feature/ is not configured correctly, and avast blocks it.

so, either most websites are not able to configure their systems correctly, or avast has a problem.

Works for me without any problems.

Repair Avast:

  1. Control Panel → Add/Remove programs → Avast
  2. Click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
  4. Reboot.

Many website owners don’t have a clue when it comes to security and setup things incorrectly.

You will often see (not limted to) :

  • SSL3 still enabled
  • chain issues
  • vulnerable to Poodle attacks
  • vulnerable to CVE-2014-0224
  • use of revoked certificates

They put 4 locks on the front door, but leave the back door and windows wide open.

I’m using win 10 1607 64 bit.

and the problem is just happening with firefox 50.1.0, not with chrome.

As said, repair Avast and report back.

If avast wouldn’t create proper ssl-certificates you would have the problem in Chrome (and other browsers) to.

okay, I just had the options “deinstallieren” and “ändern”.

after clicking on “ändern”, I was just offered to activate my new 1 year licence.

there was no repair option.
