Hello,

Last friday, a thief got into my mothers house while she was sleeping and stolen a mobile, a laptop and a tablet. All protected with avast.

Today, her mobile has a sim card change, and the phone started to update its position each five minutes… Its working very well…

However everytime I try to block the phone, or wipe it, it says that it could not connect to the device, even the device submitting the gps location to web site in the same moment…

Am I doing something wrong? Is it normal? How could I wipe or block her phone?

Take all information you have to the police (including the location information) and have them retrieve the phone.

Since the sim has changed, avast is already blocking the phone.
The thief (or whoever bought the phone) can’t use it.

Let the police get the thief(s), retrieve the phone :wink:
