I’ve removed one computer from my network and replaced it with a new one. I can’t install the Avast on the new one as it thinks I am out of licenses. I was using all 10. HOw can I move the license (or user rights?) to the new computer? ???
Uninstall in the old. Install in the new.

No problems. You can use the key in the new computer.
Probobly a dumb question, but I’ve no idea how to find the key. I’ve looked all over the AVAST Admin Console and I don’t see here the licenses are listed or distributed. I did delete that computer from the computer catalog.

druohonen, you should still see the old computer somewhere in the computer catalog.
Unfortunately, any computer that is detected on the network (regardless if Avast is installed or not) takes a license.
Check your computer catalog under the section that has machines listed that don’t have avast installed.
If it’s there, remove it. You should also remove it from Active Directory if you are on a domain so that it doesn’t detect it again (and that’s if you’re using the active directory detection in your discovery task).
Once Avast knows that the old computer is fully gone, it should free up that license for you.
