Moved from Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail...

Running Avast Pro 4.8 in Vista. I have just moved from Windows Mail to Windows Live Mail…

Do I have to change any of my Avast settings to make sure Avast is checking this mail?

You shouldn’t have to as these are almost one and the same but with a different name.

Sorry to go off topic here, but @kristin, have you noticed, in case you use the Live Mail calendar, that opposed to Windows Mail (Vista); there are only calendar-reminders if yo login to Live network (then the reminders are sent to your inbox as emails; so no popups).Was reason for me to move way from Live,

Mainly concerned with Avast protection. You know, no one likes a virus surprise.

Regarding the calendar: yikes, I’ve never used it. I mainly did the move in preparation for eventual Windows 7; hoping to save my self some time later on by organizing and consolidating now! Have to check out the calendar functions.
