I have to reformat 3 of our laptops, all of which have Avast Pro. Does anyone know how I go about getting the software reauth’d? I know it asks for a license key and those have since been lost.
I would say you will either need to contact the reseller you purchased the licenses through or contact sales @ avast.com (without the quotes) and explain the circumstances. They are both likely to need some information like the email address used, etc. to confirm your having purchased the licenses.
I emailed support but 3 days later have not seen anything. I’ll try sales, anyone else done this and know for sure?
A number of people have for one reason or another need to get a replacement license/registration key in the forums. The Alwil staff that frequent the forums have always said to contact the sales team, as they have access to the records I believe.
The keys are generally sent to the same registered email.
