Moving Mobile Provider.?

Hello,

We are about to change mobile supplier…
The actual Phone and SIM will stay the same,
“only” the Phone Number will change…

Will this affect the configuration or cause problems

Hello,

all will be fine. although you usually get a new sim card with a new provider. if this is the case proceed like this:

  • deactivate anti-theft
  • change sim
  • enable anti-theft

by opening anti-theft to enable it again, the new sim card will be added to the trusted sim cards list and won’t trigger a “lost” event.

We have new phones & sims which currently work, and I’m installing AVAST Mobile.

We are migrating only the number from old provider.
The new phones/sims have a temporary number.

We call new provider with a Code provided by existing provider
We give the code to New Provider, and then within a period of time the old phone/sim/number is de-activated,
and the number moves across to the new phone/sim.
