MP3 Autorum.inf Worm!?

i just plugged my mp3 player into my Xp and avast said
Blocked Malware: F:\autorun.inf whiich is my mp3 players Autorun.inf file. im confused O_o
i scanned it and it said “autorun.inf INF:AutoRun-gen2 [WRM]”
1.) What do i do?
2.) do i need Autorun.inf ?
3.) is it really a virus
4.) does [WRM] mean its a worm
5.) can i just make a new autorun.inf ?
6.) what would happen if i opened it?
