I was scanning a friend computer and ihr come across weird id3 tags in mp3s.
Im just wondering, can ID3 tag contain viruses?
if you ask google you will see yes it can
upload and test suspicious files here www.virustotal.com / www.metascan-online.com / www.jotti.org
Avast and mbam scan are coming clean on the folders
Im looking for the filrs again, I don’t remember the namee ><
The comment tag was just filled with 6 groups of numbers but probably not HEX, i tried to convert it hex => ascii, but if the files had id3 virus, would it be noticiable but in content of the tags? Or it would be more sneaky?
