I did a search of these components as my firewall flagged them as asking for permission when I set up an account in Microsoft Outlook Express but could only verify a few of them, are these files genuine components of MS Outlook, any help is appreciated

Components: C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msoe.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msoeacct.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\acctres.dll
C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msoeres.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msident.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\msidntld.dll
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\directdb.dll
C:\Program Files\Messenger\msgsc.dll
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\wab32.dll
C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\wab32res.dll

Google is your friend.
If you do a search for the various files listed in a Google search, you’ll find it fairly easy to verify as to their authenticity.

Running the command:
sfc /scanonce

System File Checker (sfc)
Scans and verifies the versions of all protected system files after you restart your computer.

They all look ok to me. I did a search on my computer and found all the same files in all the same places except C:\Program Files\Messenger\msgsc.dll thats a legit file to do with messenger.I don’t have messenger
