MS Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error!

Hallo,

I’ve installed the actual Avast Free Antivirus Software on a system with Windows XP SP3. At the end of the installation I’ve got the messge, that the background service is not running. With “start now” comes the following message:

MS Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Programme\AVAST Software\Avast\AvastSvc.exe

The problem comes also on an other computer with the same Windows XP.

Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.0.30319 is installed.

I’m using on my working computers the “Avast Internet Security” and would like to use the free version on this Windows XP computer.

Have I to install an other Version of Visual C++?
