P.S sorry if ive posted this in the wrong place

Jen

Ive also got things like rundll32.exe and legitcheck on my pc

infact theres loads of things ive been finding that im sure wasnt there b4!

ive just found tsco.dll -ive just googled it and nothings coming up??

I suggest:

  1. Disable System Restore and reenable it after step 3.
  2. Clean your temporary files.
  3. Schedule a boot time scanning with avast with archive scanning turned on.
  4. Use SUPERantispyware, MBAM or Spyware Terminator to scan for spywares and trojans. If any infection is detected, better and safer is send the file to Quarantine than to simple delete than.
  5. Test your machine with anti-rootkit applications. I suggest avast! antirootkit or Trend Micro RootkitBuster.
  6. Make a HijackThis log to post here or, better, submit the RunScanner log to to on-line analysis.
  7. Immunize your system with SpywareBlaster or Windows Advanced Care.
  8. Check if you have insecure applications with Secunia Software Inspector.

Could you tell me how i clean up my temp files please?

Thankyou so much for your help

Jen

HELP

avast has told me ive got a viruses
panda pskavs.dll is infected with win32:CTX !!!

:frowning:

it wouldnt let me Quonanteen it either

Jen

supra_chick: it’s a well known collision with panda database… it’s not a good idea to use two (or more) antiviruses at the same time… for panda online scan add its database to avast exclusions… anyway - use search next time
