Hi,
I test avast and adnm but when I create an installation package it happens nothing and the .msi is not created in the directory.
I use the Adnm in Demo version, is it the problem ?
Thanks by advance.

Hi,
and welcome to the avast forum!
I’m not sure I understand your question. The creation of the installation package works fine? I.e. you can see the installation package in the appropriate folder in the ADNM console? But then you start a deployment task with the “create MSI” option set, and it FAILS? Or it doesn’t fail, but just doesn’t create the MSI file?
Could you please describe the problem in a bit more detail?
BTW there should be no difference whether you’re running the product in DEMO mode or not.
Thanks
Vlk
Hi,
No, the creation of the installation package doesn’t work. This process don’t create the directory for installation packages. If I create a directory before the process, the result is the same, there are not files in this directory.
Thanks.
Are you talking about the \InstPkgs directory?
If it’s empty – did you let the mirror to be generated? Does the AMS have internet connection?
Directories InstPkgs and miror/mirror are not empty. The file mirror.log is OK, updates works fine.
The MSI files is created using the files in the InstPkgs directory.
The Install package wizard uses the file stored in the InstTmpl folder (so this folder shouldn’t be empty either).
But you said:
No, the creation of the installation package doesn't work. This process don't create the directory for installation packages.
I don’t really understand that. The creation of the installation package shouldn’t create any directories per se. It’s the deployment task…
Thanks
