Having recently downloaded and installing avast i seem to be having problems with messenger.
My contacts can’t view my webcam & if i invite them, they either don’t get the invite or the camera crashes. any voice message i record can’t be heard by the contact, nor can we play games across messenger.
Please help…
Hi stockers2 and welcome to the Forum.
Try disabling the appropriate Messenger scanning and see if that helps.

Since you didn’t mention what type of system you have, the scanning may be to system intensive
for your computer.

Version of avast is 4.7 & the latest (as far as i’m aware) version of msn. I did what you said, hopefully the next time i log on this problem will have been solved!!!
