I’ve definitely got to start getting up earlier – the last week or so, postings in the Home-Pro forum typically include “new” well into the second page. :-[
I like to pick up on those from the oldest “new” ones forward. If I’ve read one topic and then use either the “Jump to” at the bottom or the tree at the top to return, it starts me on Page 1 again and I have to go back to Page 2 each time till I’ve finished that page.
“Back” will usually work, but occasionally gives me a “page expired” error.
Any suggestions for a simple and reliable way to stay on Page 2 till I’m done with it?
Is it part of the user profile, or is it global for all users?
Since the traffic has somewhat grown during the last months, there’s often more than 20 unread topics when I connect to the forum (and I do it pretty often) - so it’s kind of inconvenient to scroll to the other pages…
Maybe increasing this parameter to 30 would be adequate for now…
kubecj’s advice was probably the simplest solution, and of course is independent of any global settings. Admittedly I haven’t yet run into an “overlap” to second page since the global setting was increased to 30 per page.
